Radio Flyer's animated short film Taking Flight was nominated for a 2017 Daytime Emmy Award in two categories, Outstanding Special Class Animated Program and Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program. Originally debuted in 2016, the film has received more than 20 awards and accolades from international and local film festivals.

"It's a great honor to be nominated for such a prestigious award," said Robert Pasin '97, Chief Wagon Officer of Radio Flyer. "The short film brings to life what Radio Flyer has meant to families during our 100 year history; bringing generations together through imagination and play."
