2016 Trust Barometer Report: Trust and CEOs
February 2016
Edelman, the world's largest communications firm (and a family business), annually surveys sentiment related to trust in institutions. The Edelman Trust Barometer collates insights from over 36,000 respondents in 28 countries. It is the most comprehensive global study of its kind.
Each year, the study's key findings are unveiled at a special presentation at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. This year's findings include a special report on Trust and CEOs.
We are fortunate that our Center for Family Enterprises (CFE) at Kellogg will host a similar presentation of the 2016 Key Findings by two of Edelman's top executives to members of the Northwestern University community. These members include researchers and professors who study and write about trust from diverse vantage points including decision-making, finance, entrepreneurship, medicine, philosophy, leadership, sociology, family business, negotiations and psychology.
According to CFE Co-Director and Professor of Family Enterprise, Justin Craig, "The CFE is excited about this opportunity to bring together scholars from across campus to learn with and from the Edelman team."
