Announcing Visiting Professor Pramodita Sharma

The Center for Family Enterprises (CFE) of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management welcomes as Visiting Professor of Family Enterprise, Pramodita (Dita) Sharma, Ph.D, the Daniel Clark Sanders Chair & Professor of Family Business at the School of Business Administration, University of Vermont (UVM).
Sharma has co-authored seven books and published over fifty articles and book chapters on family business studies. She currently serves as the Editor of the academic journal, Family Business Review. In addition, she has been instrumental in creating the Family Enterprise Research Conference, UVM's Family Business Awards and the Global Family Enterprise Case Competition. In summer 2015, she served as academic co-director for Kellogg's ISBMFaB immersion program for MBA students from the Indian School of Business.

Sharma shared, "I am drawn to opportunities that challenge me to learn from and with others whom I deeply respect. I am humbled, honored and excited to work with Professors Ward, Shefsky, Craig and Lansberg to make a meaningful contribution to scholarly family business practitioner research and education at Kellogg."
Of Professor Sharma's involvement, CFE Co-Director Justin Craig said, "Having Dita as a member of the CFE team enables us to continue to blend theory with practice. She will be providing valuable input to conversations that are not occurring elsewhere and will assist us in 'moving the needle' in family enterprise research and practice."
