On April 18, 2015, Professor John L Ward spoke to a gathering of 22 alumni and their guests in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The event was spearheaded by Ed Brenninkmeyer'14, a sixth generation family member and Head of Region for C&A;, a global fashion clothing retailer founded in 1841 in The Netherlands. Ed is Co-chair of the Kellogg Alumni Club of Brazil. "We were very lucky to have one of Kellogg's best professors and highly-regarded expert on family enterprise fly from Chicago to join us. The event was a big success! It inspired lots of great ideas among us," he said.
